Newstead Primary School Project

The members of the Newstead Men’s Shed completed part 2 of the Newstead Primary School 2019 seating project during the September school holiday break.

We constructed 2 sets of seating for the undercover area at the school – one a long box seat that can be used to store school and sport equipment and a set of two tier seats covered in for safety.

We were very pleased to assist in this community project and because we used good quality hardwood and steel, they should be standing strong through generations of primary schoolers.
