Shed Members spend a lot of time cooking sausages and we love it – raising funds for our shed and supporting our local community.
This last year has seen us cooking snags, bacon & eggs rolls and burgers for three days in front of the shed during the January long weekend and the Newstead Live Festival. April saw us cooking snags again for the FREE post Anzac Day Memorial Service – appreciated by many people.
Another one of our market sizzles occurred at the Castlemaine Garden Market in November and was well attended. If you are a local community group or are planning an event in and around Newstead, the Newstead Men’s Shed would love to get involved with you, supporting you and raising funds to keep our Shed alive.
